It’s been awhile since my left shoulder has felt this way, and it’s back, “on steroids”; that heavy feeling in my shoulder. Like my shoulder is lugging a ton of dead weight. For years, I asked my doctors to just amputate my left arm, in an attempt to ease this awful sensation. Of course, they’d say to me, “You know phantom pain if we amputate”. So I’d ask if we could just toss my arm in the trash can … a feat that would be impossible to accomplish (anyway).
This dead weight is so aggravating. I know it’ll not be so bad if I put my arm in a sling. But I’m afraid of developing frozen shoulder. Especially since I have about 90 degrees (give it take at my best) of range of motion
It feels like it felt at the beginning of this CRPS ordeal, way back when. Is this regressing or is it getting worse. Or is regressing and getting worse synonymous.
